Mummy dogs - Cool! And stashing bags of crap is what I call cleaning. With all those hyped up kids, you probably looked like you still had your zombie costume on the next day.

My class has voted to have an "apple bobbing" party as our next class reward. But I told them I can't have them sticking their mouths in water when the flu is going around. So the brainac who got the kids all excited about this project suggested we could hang the apples on strings. So, some time in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be hot glueing 22 apples to a rope to string across the classroom. After they "grab" one, they get to dip it in caramel sauce. Does your friend Eileen have plans?

Okay, I'm narrowing down where you live via satellite. Heh, heh! Worst case scenario. You're indoors and your entire home is a spook house. We've done the pinata thing indoors too, but your lights sound way too nice. You can always string it out front so only the brave will venture out to take a whack at it. Looking forward to finding out how this all turns out. My pig is preparing to put on her hat to greet the trick-or-treaters. Glad the party is at YOUR house this year. It will all be fine, really.

If we had a yard that anyone saw, my hubby would so want to have the same scarecrow flashers. That is so cute.

I can't stand people who can't park. When I was in England, I discovered my friend Lesley, was equally annoyed by these ingrates. She took one look at how someone had parked their car and dismissed them as a "tosser." I didn't need a translator to figure out what that was.

We've had that happen to us in a parking lot...and usually on the side where I have to attempt to put the child carrier in. My wife drives a Tahoe, but is always very aware of how close to the edge she's parking. When it has happened that someone so graciously leaves us 6 inches to squeeze the child carrier around the door and into the back set, I always make sure I shove the door against the side of their vehicle 2 or 3 or 6 times. Extra hard.

That bad selfish parking job would annoy the heck out of me, too. Today I was nearly run down by a huge SUV that barrelled in front of my minivan (which was tiny in comparison) to get what I was later shocked to find was the last parking spot at the grocery store. I had the right of way. Thankfully I was driving very slowly. I, of course, have never done anything so horrid.....I'd wanted to leave some sort of sign on her car, too.
